@Joseph Salisbury just tested again, and the problem seems related to the media or the way the ISO is burned. Beta1 live USB + persistent storage got the problem. Beta2 live USB WITHOUT persistent storage worked just fine. Beta2 live USB + persistent storage got the problem again.
