@jsalisbury: So he probably reported about Ubuntu-built kernel, I was reporting about *vanilla* kernel with full configs. I explored 3.3 kernel you mentioned, but it did not contain CONFIG_USB_OTG=y and therefore it has to work, as I said in #23.
Sorry for bad expression of my ideas, but I did not expect bisecting kernel config.
