In fact, this is not a bug - but a misunderstanding on my side about the
difference between "halt" and "poweroff" together with a change in
behaviour of "halt".
If I use "poweroff", the computer is correctly powered off. If I use
"halt", the computer is "halted" but not powered off -- probably, as it
should be. Formerly, "halt" caused the computer to be powered off as
well.
