Thanks Jeroen. That GLX error means your graphics driver is not properly installed.
I've seen the same error happen myself but don't know what causes it other than a mixup of the GLX library that's active. To solve the problem you should try uninstalling and then reinstalling your driver: 1. Ctrl+Alt+T to open a terminal 2. Run: jockey-gtk 3. Uninstall all active drivers. 4. Reboot And if it's not already solved then... 5. Ctrl+Alt+T to open a terminal 6. Run: jockey-gtk 7. Install one of the graphics drivers it gives you the choice of. 8. Reboot Let us know if you have any success with those steps. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1054845 Title: Unity not working on mid-2009 MacBook Pro To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1054845/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
