doctordruidphd, note that Launchpad is used for both Ubuntu and HPLIP upstream, so for forwarding an HPLIP bug reported to Ubuntu upstream one does not need to create a new bug report but simply add an HPLIP upstream task to the existing bug report, which I have already done (by clicking "Also affects project").
