Since this bug was reported, the design has changed. Just as color
application icons are used consistently inside and outside the menu,
color chat status icons are also used inside and outside the menu.
However those icons may be tweaked, they should remain consistent, with
no separate monochrome icons.

  In a previous bug from 10.10, the -panel suffix was added to ubuntu-mono
  user status icons.
  
  Now in 11.10, the -panel suffix needs to be removed for the inidactor-
  message module to use the proper icons and not fallback to humanity's
  icons.
  
  This is a visual consistency issue that can be easily solved. Please
  take care of this before final release!
