NB The problem did not exist in Lucid with kernel 2.6.32 I wanted to tag this bug as a regression bug, but could not decide between the three options (regression-release, regression-updates or regression-proposed) and I do not want to upset the system. It is a regression bug. Therefore I hope that this fix will be added to the 3.2.0 kernel, but it is not yet in 3.2.0-31. I rather do not want to keep on running an unstable kernel release.
