Dear Support,

I followed the instructions in DebuggingKernelSuspend. The first time I
ran pm-suspend, it suspended normally and resumed right away. The second
time I ran pm-suspend, it failed to suspend. The screen went dim, but not
completely off, and after a while the fan came on, suggesting that some
program was hanging. The DebuggingKernelSuspend page assumes that the
problem is in resume, not in suspend, but apparently the problem I have is
with suspend itself.

Sometimes I can suspend the laptop but then it hangs in resume.

Paul
