soundkonverter 1.6 will be the last version in the soundkonverter 1 series so there aren't any bug fixes in the pipe line and it might be a good point to update the packages. Even though version 1.6.3 lists a bug fix it's actually more of a cosmetic fix. The last serious fixes were released with version 1.6.2, which was about 3 months ago and I haven't heard of any bug since. So I can only encourage all packagers to back-port version 1.6.3 since it fixes a lot of bugs and is most likely to be the most stable version available.
