@Thomas: Nice to hear. Probably your standalone dnsmasq was conflicting with the dnsmasq process controlled by NetworkManager --- both were trying to bind 127.0.0.1. Now NM-dnsmasq binds 127.0.1.1 instead, so there is no longer a conflict.
Please upgrade network-manager to 0.9.6.0-0ubuntu7 and dnsmasq to 2.63-1ubuntu1 and see if the problem is still fixed. ;) ** Changed in: dnsmasq (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1027808 Title: dnsmasq doesn't start at system startup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dnsmasq/+bug/1027808/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
