Public bug reported:

This is a regression on 12.10 beta1 + daily updates. Tested on a
Lenovo X220i and a Dell Inspiron 6400.

In the "Brightness and Lock" settings, I un-tick the "Dim screen to save
power" option and set the "Turn screen off when inactive for: " to
"Never" to turn off screen dimming and blanking. However, after 30
minutes or so (I've not accurately measured when), the screen is
blanked.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
