I am going to change one variable at a time to see what happens: The first is that I have downloaded v3.6-rc5 of the kernel and I have updated it's .config to turn on USB debugging and compiled and installed it to hopefully see more details. This will hopefully also enable me to determine the line of code that is causing the kernel oops.
I will wait to see what happens. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/642517 Title: BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000060; RIP: 0010:[<ffffffffa00a50d6>] [<ffffffffa00a50d6>] store_protocols+0xa6/0x3b0 [ir_core] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/642517/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
