I am using Ubuntu Feisty 64bit. I don't know if the bug shows up a second time, but here are the steps I did after I had done a fresh install:
1. Download a gdm theme from gnome-look.org 2. Open "Login Window" under System -> Administration 3. Click "Local" tab 4. Click "Add" 5. select downloaded file and click "Install" 6. Select the radio button next to the newly installed gdm theme. Note that it is still set on "Selected Only" 7. For this step, either reboot the computer or simply log out (I can't remember if it does it for both) 8. You will see a completely random gdm theme 9. Login and re-open the "Login Window" prefs 10. You will see "Selected Only" has been changed on its own to "Random from selected" 11. Change it back to "Selected Only" 12.
