My T61 was locking up on every resume from dock. I found a workaround. At the BIOS level is disabled the TPM chip and the legacy ports for the dock. I don't use any of these port/features so it is no great lose. This may be a bit overkill. Maybe just disabling one of them would have worked. If other people have the time to play more, this will give them a good place to start.
