Hey cagara - I'm using unity with the default theme, and haven't had time to try testing with your packages. But here is another thought (if you are still experiencing the bug).
A lot of people had graphical corruption when Mesa 9.0 arrived. The people on bug 1042211 have intel video (Shahar's report was duped to that), and are using unity. Their problems have improved. You've got kwin, not compiz, and I guess you have nvidia hardware on that laptop. But you might ask on that bug, there were a number of knowledgeable developers there.
