Hi, Colin! Unfortunately, i cannot reproduce it without reinstalling kubuntu on my laptop (which i'm not able to do because my g/f has that computer in her office during the week). i managed to work around the problem by using the "alternate" CD, which provides a text-mode installer. The text-mode installer didn't suffer from the problem. The bug that got me wasn't actually the crash (that bug report was auto-generated by the crash handler tool), but the fact that the installer refused to show any partitions for selection, so i couldn't re-install (or install at all, for that matter). Curiously, i installed Kubuntu on that box some months ago using the same installer and it didn't exhibit the problem. i can't explain it, and if you want to close this bug as not reproducible, please feel free to do so. If it does come up again i will gladly re-post it. -- ----- stephan http://wanderinghorse.net/home/stephan/ (PLEASE DO NOT publish this email address, or i will eventually be forced to abandon it due to all the spam!!!) -- [apport] ubiquity crashed with AttributeError in customize_installer() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121883 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
