As I indicated in my comments #1 and #5, I have followed the
instructions at the link you provide in your comment #6, but the apport
/ubuntu-bug tool will not create the expected <apport.bug> file. I
provided the terminal output on failure in my comment #1.
Perhaps it fails because I am trying to collect using a GRUB2-mounted ISO for
12.04.1.
Perhaps it fails because this is the first bug I've reported and I don't
understand the tool.
In any case, please advise how I can help.
