Public bug reported:

Inkscape freezes in Ubuntu 12.10 after I decided to change font style. I
typed something and then decided to change fonts, however I was not able
to do that. Inkscape freezed and had to close it via System monitor. See
the picture for better understanding. However if I typed the name of the
font into that search bar everything was okay.

Regards.
