** Description changed:

  system 201101-6954.

  I noticed that when suspending this system using fwts, the speakers and
  headphone outputs are disabled after resuming. Strangely this only
  happens with fwts, not with rtcwake.

  To reproduce:

  $ /usr/share/checkbox/scripts/audio_test
  # a 7 Khz beep is heard, and the test passes.
  $ sudo rtcwake -s 60 -m mem && /usr/share/checkbox/scripts/audio_test
  # System goes to sleep, then wakes up
  # a 7 Khz beep is heard, and the test passes.
  $ sudo fwts s3  --s3-sleep-delay=30 && /usr/share/checkbox/scripts/audio_test
  # System goes to sleep, then wakes up
  # nothing is heard, and the test fails

  If at this point I go to the audio control panel, I notice not even the
  test sounds work.

  I'm filing this under fwts to start the triaging process, but it may
  belong in the Linux kernel. If so, feel free to move it and I can
  collect relevant information with apport-collect.
