Hi Colin, thanks for your help! So I tested with your ./suspend-resume.sh script, and the bug occurs; audio works fine before running the script but the output dies after resuming from suspend. So the good news is that fwts is potentially not to blame here.
However I tested again after rebooting, but using rtcwake to suspend/resume the system, and I don't get the failure. So somehow, rtcwake sleeps and resumes the system in a way that doesn't trigger the problem. Should we move this bug to the kernel (or some other component) instead? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1043496 Title: [HP ProBook 6550b] suspending using fwts s3 disables audio output To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fwts/+bug/1043496/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
