I'm trying to build Julius 4.2.2 on Ubuntu 11.10 amd64 with: ./configure --enable-words-int --with-mictype=alsa
This commands ends with ... configure: error: no ALSA header! configure: error: ./configure failed for libsent i have installed libasound2-dev libesd0-dev libsndfile1-dev try with --with-mictype alsa or pulseaudio or esd, none worked but i would like to use default audio driver for Ubuntu. I read about "padsp" and "AUDIODEV" but i dont what to do, i have searched but still confused. I downloaded the sources from julius site and i have this problem on Ubuntu 11.10 and 12.04 i383 and amd64. On Ubuntu 10.04 i use oss and it can work as expected. Now I'm not able to run on newer versions of Ubuntu. Can someone give an example that what should I do? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298447 Title: julius wants /dev/dsp as input device To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/julius/+bug/298447/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
