Hi, I'm having the same problem. I have tested installing the asus_wmi patches to kernels < = 3.5.0-10 . I have tested also with kernels 3.5.0-11 and 3.6.0-rc1. Just wanted to note that this bug seems to only be present when installing ubuntu on the SSD since users with the same hardware but with Ubuntu installed in the HDD don't seem to be complaining (could somebody confirm that?).
