Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-neomagic

I'm not sure if it's an xorg bug, but I guess so:
When playing DVDs (or comparable mpeg2 content), I get an slightly moving line
in the lower part of the display and terrible noise from the speakers. This
disappears when using vesa instead of neomagic (which is not an option because
it is to slow) or when deactivating sound.
The problem appears in every video player. It does not appear when playing e.g.
mpeg4 files.
Hardware: Sony Vaio PCG-F305 (nm2200 chipset)

** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-neomagic (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
