Just restarted; use of the touch-screen is a bit hit-and-miss. Touching the screen moves the cursor, but I can't click anything. Oddly, I can select areas of text in the terminal output but this doesn't apply to anything else that I know of.
If I tap the screen to move the cursor, moving the touchpad or shifting the USB mouse makes the cursor jump back to where it was originally before being controlled as normal. I've attached another dmesg output. ** Attachment added: "Second dmesg output from when the touchscreen does not work as expected." https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1026174/+attachment/3271654/+files/dmesg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1026174 Title: Dell Lattitude 2120 Touchscreen worked in Ubuntu 11.10, does not work in 12.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1026174/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
