I edited oss4-base_noALSA.conf Added the comment, commented out the blacklist as follows (showing in the next two lines).
# this is our sound. DavidA. Do not blacklist. #blacklist snd-hda-intel On reboot sound works without any problem I can find. So... why is that noALSA there, I wonder?
