I supplied not only the bug report but a patch and a confirmation that the patch actually fixes the problem. If you want to go ahead and supply other people with a fixed version, that would be marvellous of you. I am sure others would appreciate it very much.
But I am not going to spend yet more time on this issue writing up a justification, complete with test cases and whatever else you want, why this should be fixed in the currently released version -- the version that everyone is using. It's quite clear why it should be fixed. Just skip all of the red-tape and do the right thing and provide everyone else with the fixed package. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1036134 Title: totem-pl-parser segfault crashes rhythmbox To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/totem-pl-parser/+bug/1036134/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
