Could be although I can't find the internet setting because of my current 
accomodation. Its a shared house wireless internet. I expect though it was my 
computer, it went into standby mode whilst I WAS DOWNLOADING SOME APPLICATIONS 
FROM THE SOFTWARE CENTRE. excuse capitals. applications being downloaded were 
openarena, flightgear, tremulous, eat the whistle, warzone 2100, megaglest, 
periodic table, tux typing, ktouch, adobeflashplugin.
Then the screen locked, and after entering my password I had the error message.
My computr is a Hanspree
Atom 1.6 GHz, 1GB Ram, 200 GB HDD
