I'm getting the same issue, and it seems like it only appeared after upgrading to kernel 3.2.0-26.41 (Ubuntu 3.2.0-26.41-generic 3.2.19). Every now and then my system hangs completely for about half a second (I mostly notice it because of my music stopping).
I get the following message every now and then in my dmesg logs: [ 3216.998103] type=1701 audit(1343888944.043:42): auid=4294967295 uid=1000 gid=1000 ses=4294967295 pid=2819 comm="chrome" reason="seccomp" sig=0 syscall=83 compat=0 ip=0x7fdb73fa2e47 code=0x50002 This is without specifically high load on my machine. I also have an SSD for my root volume (OCZ Agility 3). I just upgraded to kernel 3.2.0.27.29. If this does not fix the issue, I'll test with the mainline kernels. ** Attachment added: "lspci log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1029504/+attachment/3245564/+files/lspci-vnvn.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1029504 Title: System freezes randomly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1029504/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
