I'm getting the same issue, and it seems like it only appeared after
upgrading to kernel 3.2.0-26.41 (Ubuntu 3.2.0-26.41-generic 3.2.19).
Every now and then my system hangs completely for about half a second (I
mostly notice it because of my music stopping).

I get the following message every now and then in my dmesg logs:

[ 3216.998103] type=1701 audit(1343888944.043:42): auid=4294967295
uid=1000 gid=1000 ses=4294967295 pid=2819 comm="chrome" reason="seccomp"
sig=0 syscall=83 compat=0 ip=0x7fdb73fa2e47 code=0x50002

This is without specifically high load on my machine. I also have an SSD
for my root volume (OCZ Agility 3).

I just upgraded to kernel 3.2.0.27.29. If this does not fix the issue,
I'll test with the mainline kernels.
