Bryce, currently the computer is returned on warranty for repair, as due to other problems I tried to update the firmware (BIOS) and before I even got into a firmware updater utility, the box died. Probably it was already somewhat broken or the original firmware has bugs preventing an update.
I will come back here and also to the other X bugs which I have reported when I have the box back.
