Hi,

I hope someone is still following this bug.

I have a fresh installation of Ubuntu 12.04, with all the updates done.
I own a Dell Vostro V131.

I too get the wrong "Energy when full" value, around 80 % of the time.

gnome-power-statistics shows the correct "Capacity" of the battery (91.8
%), and the correct "Energy (design)" (65.0 Wh) values.

However, when the battery is full, the value for "Energy when full" is
almost always 65.0 Wh. As soon as I unplug my computer, the battery
indicator shows 91 % of battery remaining.

This indicates that the battery indicator does indeed show the correct
battery percentage left, but when measured against the designed energy,
and NOT the energy when full, which is misleading.

On the other hand, at least this implies that it shows the correct
Remaining time.

Please let me know if you need more info. I hope what I wrote can help...
