Your welcome, der-matthias :) Actually, now that I think about it, your symptoms don't _quite_ match what I was thinking when I offered that solution: the problem (for others) had been that vim-gtk (which is in universe), depended on vim- common (which is in main); if vim-common got updated through feisty- security main, but vim-gtk didn't (because universe wasn't on the feisty-security line), there'd be a mismatch. In the case of vim or vim-gnome, however, they are all in main, so I don't know how you encountered what you did. Maybe the packages list were simply out-of-date or something, and mucking with the sources and re-updating fixed it? I don't know... At any rate: glad it's fixed for you! :) -- Package vim-gnome fails to install due to vim-common problem. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121779 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
