OS: Mint Maya (Based on 12.04)
Machine: Sager NP9170 (Clevo P170EM)
Brightness Down: Fn + F8 key
Brightness Up: Fn + F9 key


Output from grep mentioned above:

$ grep IGDM DSDT.dsl
            OperationRegion (IGDM, SystemMemory, ASLB, 0x2000)
            Field (IGDM, AnyAcc, NoLock, Preserve)

I applied the .conf file above with the commands specified, rebooted and
the brightness keys still didn't work. Please let me know if there is
any more information I can provide.
