I have an alternative workaround.
I just installed 7.04 on a notebook with only 800x600 resolution. I simply
pressed tab until my cursor focus reappeared then shift-tabbed back to the last
button (usually Next or OK) and pressed space or enter. I could easily use my
mouse to select my time zone. EASY
That said I totally agree with busdriver above. I wish I could think of a
stronger word than ridiculous. The CD wrapper should read "at least 256Mb ram,
2Gb disk space and 768 screen height" RIDICULOUS^2. I hate it when software
forces me to throw out my perfectly good older computer as it fucks up my
finances and my sons planet. Thanks Ubuntu I will now crawl back into my happy
little red hat shell.
