Public bug reported:

When nm-applet does something, e.g. waiting for the key phrase,
connecting to the wifi hotspot or to vpn network, hud-service consumes
about ~50% of cpu time.

I also realized that hud-service does it when I start nautilus first
time from booting the system. Depending on the system load, sometimes I
have to wait even more than 10 seconds until nautilus window appears.
