I'm inclined to just propose removing ejecter from the archive until it is fixed. It depends on NBS libgdu-dev/libgdu0 and crashes on startup (bug 996739 among other crashes).
Adding to the evidence that it is unlikely to be fixed in good order, upstream still uses GTK+ 2 and vala 0.10 and hasn't had a bzr commit since Feb 2011. Plus, Unity now has similar functionality directly in its launcher (though of course this package is still useful in other contexts). If it ever gets updated, it can easily be re-added to the archive. But for now, the package is not only seemingly nonfunctional, but it is holding an NBS package in the archive. I'll change bug title and subscribe the archive admins. ** Summary changed: - NBS: port from libgdu0 to libudisks-2 + Please remove ejecter from archive -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1022602 Title: Please remove ejecter from archive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ejecter/+bug/1022602/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
