Public bug reported:

I am trying to add shadows to the drop down menus in Java applications
like I have in GTK applications, but so far I did have much success. I
was trying to match windows with:

name=sun-awt-X11-XFramePeer for normal Java windows
name=sun-awt-X11-XWindowPeer for Java menus and tooltips
name=sun-awt-X11-XDialogPeer for Java dialog (sub-)windows

But it does not work in windows that have a Java application running.

However, I noticed that if the drop down menu is contained only inside
the window running Java application, it does not show the shadow.
However if I resize the window so that the drop down menu is little
outside the window, then the shadow is drawn. [see attached file]

Does any one know how to put it permanently working?

Thanks in advance,
cfms
