Understood Steve, and I'm sorry that we haven't been able to help you
with this.

Because mysql-cluster-7.0 is in universe in lucid, the Ubuntu project's
support for it is minimal. If the community has a fix, we'll certainly
put it through the normal stable update process, but we aren't actively
seeking to make sure all bugs are fixed.

Note that there is some interest in packaging Cluster 7.2 for Debian:

Steve Ayre might be interested in helping with packages for Ubuntu as
well, and their Debian packages might even work for precise.
