Understood Steve, and I'm sorry that we haven't been able to help you with this.
Because mysql-cluster-7.0 is in universe in lucid, the Ubuntu project's support for it is minimal. If the community has a fix, we'll certainly put it through the normal stable update process, but we aren't actively seeking to make sure all bugs are fixed. Note that there is some interest in packaging Cluster 7.2 for Debian: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=560244 Steve Ayre might be interested in helping with packages for Ubuntu as well, and their Debian packages might even work for precise. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #560244 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=560244 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/660379 Title: Make mysql-cluster depend on libmysqlclient16 from mysql-5.1 (rather than conflict) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-cluster-7.0/+bug/660379/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
