I may have mistaken this bug for another, related one. Anyway, part of the confusion for me, was that several Indicator Applet packages exist in Ubuntu, and more than one produce items in the Add to Panel dialog. For "indicator", Synaptic shows:
indicator-applet indicator-applet-appmenu indicator-applet-complete indicator-applet-session These do different things. I have not sorted out which does what. The descriptions don't say much. It would be helpful if there were an "About" for panel applets (wasn't there one before?) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/951664 Title: Battery menu disappear malfunction (in GNOME "classic" fallback session, not in Unity) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-applet/+bug/951664/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
