Hello, In previous Ubuntu releases there is a 'thin' or 'simple' theme choice in gnome-theme-manager. it was described as 'The Simple theme is designed for high performance with a thin appearance.' It's referenced as been included in 'http://packages.ubuntu.com/feisty/gnome/gnome-themes' but no icons. etc..
