No no no no, I'm not letting you hijack this bug as well ;) Freeze bugs look the same, since the machine just freezes. It _does_ _not_ mean they all have the same cause. I'm tired of repeating that.
Sean, -27 probably had some other upstream change for your hw that fixed things (nouveau?). Note that it includes a couple of upstream point releases with dozens of changes..
