Public bug reported: Downloaded the Quantal Desktop 64-bit Alpha-2 Daily Build of today. Booted to LiveCD and started the installation. Selected an empty storage device for the installation and started the process. The file copying completed apparently successfully. Then the installer appeared to have gone looking for updates and crashed after a few were downloaded.
