@cement_head: If you're asking whether 1.0.1-4ubuntu5.3 (from precise- proposed) fixes the WPA Enterprise problem, the answer is no, at least for me. I replaced Diane Trout's wpasupplicant with wpasupplicant_0.7.3-6ubuntu2_amd64.deb and remained unable to connect. Once I put her version back, connection was immediate.
