Hi. I got the same problem. In addition i got no background image at all. Here's my system: hardware: ati mobility radeon 7500; 1400x1050 display (notebook: compaq evo N620c) software: ubuntu, gutsy (newest, daily upgraded), radeon-driver, gnome, compiz I added a screenshot. I've no idea how to solve that problem.
