Oh no :) this one does not happen under Feisty. On Edgy I fixed this following the recommendations on launchpad. But on Feisty this does not happen. One thing that happens, however is malfunctioning of suspend to RAM feature - the laptop suspends and when it resumes the screen is not backlighted, so I'm afraid to close the lid, as the brightness is not restored. Maybe there is a fix to this?
