Public bug reported:

Updating from 11.10 to 12.04 when this error first occurred. Also a
problem with Mythtv (frontend only) upgrade--unable to create
/var/lib/mythtv/videos. Had an autofs5 mount point at
/var/lib/mythtv/music (mounts the music folder of the backend machine).
Disabled the autofs5 mount point; now able to manipulate
/var/lib/mythtv/videos and $ sudo apt-get install -f now proceeded to
start to install mythtv-frontend update
(2:0.24.0+fixes.20110908.1de0431-0ubuntu1 --> 2:0.25.0+fixes.20120410
.1f5962a-0ubuntu1).

However, now failed on setting up colord with:
(copied from terminal session)
