I said this bug affects me also, but I've been doing some testing with
Ubuntu 12.04 and pinpointed MPD (Music Player Daemon) as the issue. I
have my music share on a remote system (NFS over LAN), but regardless of
that, simply installing mpd (no NFS enabled) added 30 seconds to my boot
time in 12.04. Bootchart shows a long period of inactivity (disk and
CPU). So, in my case, the slow boot is actually mpd related, not NFS.
