I've run that commands on logout then on login then after changing volume. After that I compared everyting in terminal:
piotrek@p5q-pro:~/Pulpit$ cat ls_logout ls_login ls_changed -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 16357 cze 21 10:10 /var/lib/alsa/asound.state -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 16360 cze 21 20:01 /var/lib/alsa/asound.state -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 16360 cze 21 20:01 /var/lib/alsa/asound.state piotrek@p5q-pro:~/Pulpit$ diff rap_logout rap_login 163c163 < value '< 64 ohms' --- > value '150-300 ohms' piotrek@p5q-pro:~/Pulpit$ diff rap_login rap_changed piotrek@p5q-pro:~/Pulpit$ Ohms differ as I played with alsamixer. Seems that alsa volume level settings are never persisted or something like that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879826 Title: [CMI8786 - Xonar DG, playback] volume position not saved on shutdown To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/879826/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
