A strange new symptom with V4: grub fails, thus at boot I can only see the
"grub>" prompt with only minimal BASH-like line editing support. I have
manually booted v24 and I'm here back again to help with testing. I won't touch
the system configuration, to help you further investigate this strange new
behaviour (if needed).
I could easily fix it running disinstallation of v4 and than running
update-grub, but maybe there's some trace you might want to find on the system
as it is right now. Just let me know if you need further assistance.

And don't worry for my "bad news": I'm not worried at all. I've been
involved already, in the past, in sw development process. I don't know
what you're doing, but I know that I must do what you write, in order to
help to find a fix. So, let's go on!
