This is almost certainly a Qt/Ubuntu issue. Is that with ubuntu's "unified menu bar" UI? I know that there were patches to Qt done to allow that kind of UI, and I heard that this introduced bugs. What Qt version is used? melchiaros added a comment - 20/Jun/12 1:21 PM It is with the ubuntu menu bar. I have just checked with an openSUSE12.1 64bit install(brought to qt4.8.2) and qtcreator2.5.0. On this system it is not there. On the Ubuntu system it is Qt4.8.2. So, you are correct. It seems to be a ubuntu specific issue.
