Hi Ken, As already stated Alt+letter and Alt (long hit) work fine in other applications (eg Firefox) : it gives access to the global menu, wereas Alt (short hit) gives the HUD.
Here it's a problem specific to the integration of LibreOffice (lo- menubar).
